The reason why RGS down today is due to the news that the company had received notice from NYSE Regulation about the commencement of proceedings to delist Regis' common stock from the New York Stock Exchange. Regis' common stock, although not suspended from trading, faced the prospect of delisting as the company was unable to demonstrate compliance with NYSE's continued listing standards. Specifically, Regis did not meet the requirements of maintaining either at least $50 million in stockholders' equity or at least $50 million in total market capitalization on a 30-trading day average basis, as outlined in NYSE's Section 802.01B of the Listed Company Manual.
