It also operates 100% interests in the Galena Complex located near the town of Wallace in the state of Idaho, the United States. The company was formerly known as Scorpio Mining Corporation and changed its name to Americas Silver Corporation in May 2015. Americas Silver Corporation was incorporated in 1998 and is based in Toronto, Canada.
